The Principality of Monaco & Eze village

Full day tour from Nice, Monaco or Cannes.

Depart Nice or Monaco with the middle cliff road enjoying superb views of the coast line of the French Riviera and mountains.
Make a photo stop on the way and admire Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu-sur- Mer from above.

The location of Eze is positionned on the 3 cliff roads.
Eze is a strange medieval perched village situated at 1400 feet high where people took refuge from the 11th century to avoid the attacks of their various enemies.

Park the bus at the foot of the hill. Obligation of parking with a fee.
Toilets available with a small fee.

Good walking abilities necessary.

Stroll the narrow cobblestone streets with vaulted passageways.
Discover the tiny 18th century baroque church, the Planet square, and walk up to the cactus garden.( Entrance fee.)
Enjoy spectacular views from the ruins of the castle displaying sights of Cap Ferrat, and the magic coast line all the way to the Esterel.

Free time for shopping and strolling.

Then proceed to the visit of the Perfume Factory Fragonard, at the foot of the village.
Easy access for the bus with special parking area and free toilets.
The mother house is in Grasse , the world capital of perfumes since the 16th century.
But here also you will understand the process of making perfume with an informative free guided tour and discover the magic of different perfumes.

Count 40 mn including 20 mn tour and free time for shopping.

The bus will continue to Monaco using the middle cliff road.
After 30 minutes, you will reach the Principality of Monaco, directly entering at the exotic garden; check- point where you will pay the parking fee.

Visit the rock of Monaco, the historical part, walled city overlooking the sea.
Pass the oceanographic museum created by Prince Albert the 1st.

You can visit the inside of the museum with its grand collection of fish from all over the world.

Walk through the St Martin gardens.
Visit the 19th century neo-romanesque cathedral, where the princes are buried.
Then, the Prince’s Palace which is visitable from April to October.
No reservation needed – entrance fee.

Changing of the guards happens every day at 11h55.

From here you can choose to have lunch on the rock where many restaurants are available.
List of restaurants can be sent on request.
After lunch, return to the bus-parking using escalators and elevators.

Travel the Formula 1 grand prix circuit and reach Monte Carlo.
Reach the casino square where the splendid Grand casino of Monte Carlo created by Charles Garnier under the reign of Charles the 3rd, in the 19th century, is located.
A splendid example of architecture of the Belle Epoque.

Free time for exceptional somptuous sights 5 stars hotels brand name boutiques and shops and time to enjoy gambling in Monte Carlo.

After the visit of MC square, stroll the Japaneese gardens.
Free entrance at the larvotto.

Drive back on the coastal road through Eze-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and Villefranche-sur-Mer to enjoy sea views.
Or return by the grand cliff-road, enjoying fantastic panoramic views over Monaco Principality and drive on the highway from La Turbie (for groups returning directly to Cannes).

THE GRIMALDIS IN MONACO AND ROQUEBRUNE-CAP MARTIN.

Full day tour.

This tour will allow visitors to discover two historical towns that were part of the same state for five centuries and until 1848 governed by the Grimaldi family.
Visit in the morning of the historical part of Monaco referred to as the Rock with a tour of the Grimaldi Palace (opened from June to October only), followed in the afternoon by a trip to the perched village of Roquebrune and a visit of the old fortified castle rebuilt by the Grimaldis.
Panoramic view over Monaco and Menton which was also part of Monaco until 1848. This old village of Roquebrune with its medieval castle, its narrrow, winding streets sometimes covered over with vaults and arches has a very particular charm quite unique on the French Riviera.
